Christopher holds a B.S. in Biology from Bowling Green State University and a M.S. in Fisheries Oceanography from the University of Alaska. Chris was the Program Coordinator for the Fishery Industrial Technology Center, University of Alaska, located in Kodiak, Alaska. Here he conducted independent research, extension, and teaching in fisheries' science and technology and has accumulated over fifteen years of experience in these areas.
Recent research had been primarily in the area of fish parasites and detection using electrical and magnetic methods, using technology he and colleagues have developed and patented. He also researched and published several articles on fisheries and their effects on non-target species. He also researched and published professional articles on the ecology and distribution of several Cephalopods. Chris also has extensive experience and expertise in EPA water quality compliance monitoring for industrial effluent, wetland surveys for fish and wildlife species and habitat, sampling, testing, and qualitative and quantitative chemical and biological analysis. |
